Source Safe Web Interface provides remote access to all the features of Visual Source Safe without the need to install software on the end user PC. It is a fully Web based system that will work on any PC or MAC (OSX) with IE6 or higher, Firefox or Safari and the Java runtime.

SSWI (Source Safe Web Interface) allows the user to do check-out, recursive check-out's, check-in's and all the other Visual Source Safe functions remotely, from any location in the world, making it the ideal companion for remote workers, professional software developers or large development teams.

The product can also be used by any member of staff that requires access to a document in your Visual Source Safe repository. Marketeers, Managers etc. can modify documents on the move and still track changes, view the document history, and allow others to access the file.

It provides full local and remote filesystem support, using Java technology. No need for activeX controls or specific client side configuration.

SSWI also supports the MSSCCI interface for integrating with popular IDE's, including Visual Basic 6, Visual Studio 2002 and Visual Studio 2003 (.NET 1.0 and 1.1), the SSWI download contains an installer for the IDE integration that you can distribute to your developers.

Developers API: Using the SSWI developer API you can build source safe operations into any application or process simply by calling an XML web service.
