One of the main features, shared by most of the controls, is the ability to perform blending. Most controls support 3 different types of blending for their normal state, their pressed state and their "hot" state. The simple interface allows users to choose their preferred blending type from many pre-defined values or they can create thier own type. In this way it is possible to create personalized interfaces with a specific theme. Support linear, rectangular and elliptical gradients is included Use the blending options to update the most useful standard controls, like labels, buttons, check-boxes, progress-bar, option buttons, trackbar. Some of them can also be created with a circular shape (button, check-box and option-button), better suited for touch-screen applications. The elSelectionButton is a convenient replacement for the standard combobox. It is specifically designed for touch screen applications. You can collapse buttons into one and cycle through them or select one of them using the intuitive interface. The elToolbar is ideal to improve the ergonomics of applications: items can "grow" when the mouse moves to them and it is possible to enable "follow mouse" behaviour. Use the elRoseMenu control to show a circular context menu. Each menu item can have custom icons and fonts. The elRoseMenu control can also be edited at design time exactly as a common context menu, allowing submenu items and using spaces as separators. This kind of menu can be dragged around and can be configured so that it will not close after a menu item selection: it will therefore behave as a special button bar. This suite contains also many other useful controls, like the elColorProgressBar or the elLed which is a multi-state label that acts as a real led. All the components in this suite are built with 100% C# managed code. |
